Established in 1996, Stewartson & Associates Limited, initially provided recruitment services to the Technology sector with clients including a software house and a mobile phone operator.

Over the years we have extended both the services we provide and our client portfolio. Clients have included established “blue chips”, fast growth PE or VC owned startups and SME’s. We have worked with clients in a range of industries. Our Service Offering has extended as our skills base grew and the demand identified.

A BIT MORE ABOUT US

Founded in 1996, Stewartson & Associates was established to enable the founder to provide in-house recruitment solutions. Having spent 10 years both contingency agency side and working for a headhunting firm and recruitment advertising company, our founder moved “in-house”. Initially working for a FinTech, nine months later saw our founder working for a start-up mobile phone company for the following 4 years: growing the IT directorate from 120 staff to over 350 in under two years; working with the Network Services Directorate to create a volume recruitment model for Field and Switch Technicians and; centralising the Contractor Recruitment and Contractor Management process – bringing major improvements on meaningful Management Information, controlling costs, reducing time to hire and addressing the IR35 issues and protecting the business.

Other clients followed in the technology space – with companies working in Systems Integration, Fixed Telecoms, Billing & Customer Care Solutions, IT Support & Infrastructure, Digital Cinema and Chip Design. Extending operations in to the Financial Services/Fintech space with Retail Banks, Insurance Providers, Life & Pensions, and also in to the world of Academia (IT Academy aimed at 16 to 18 year olds), Media & Broadcasting, Rail, Travel, BioTech, Pharma and Life Sciences.
