Accreditation in Thomas International tools in 2010 – PPA, GIA and TEIQ.

The Personal Profile Analysis (PPA) provides rapid and deep insights into a person’s Behavioural Preferences and Communication Style and by understanding themselves and others better are able to formulate Coping Strategies for more successful ways of working and communicating with others. The PPA is a tool of great value in recruitment, performance management and and for the Outplacement Solutions we provide.

The General Intelligence Assessment (GIA) measures an individual’s aptitude in five key areas: Reasoning; Perceptual Speed; Number Speed and Accuracy; Word Meaning; and Spatial Visualisation. It helps ensure a person is sufficiently challenged, identifies potential leaders with the skills to effect change, and measures mental capacity, problem solving and adaptability.

The Trait Emotional Intelligence Questionnaire (TEIQ) measures 15 emotional traits concerning, Well-Being, Control, Emotionality and Sociability.

These tools add a greater depth to the understanding of people, how they think and behave. The tools add great value by providing a different perspective and work extremely well for some types of recruitment but also for performance management, people reviews and outplacement activity.

We have also explored other tools including Insights, iMA, SHL, Belbin Team Test and can call upon our Associates where there is a preference for a particular tool.
